The Physical Body - Temple of the Soul

Yogi Bhajan stated that "we are spiritual beings having a human experience". He also said that human birth into a physical body is a precious jewel that blesses us with the opportunity to transform karma to dharma. These two things lead us to a different understanding of our bodies and challenge us to become conscious of why we are here and what we should be doing whilst we are here. They show us that the physical body is a place of transformation. It is only with a physical body that we can have the experiences we need to truly learn about ourselves and grow to fulfil our true potential. Kundalini Yoga especially offers us deep and powerful ways to engage with this process.
As we begin our journey into the Aquarian Age we are experiencing the labour pains of a new consciousness. These are turbulent times, calling for integrity and balance. Kundalini Yoga can help us integrate all the facets of ourselves and help us stay in touch with our centre. We understand that all our encounters and exchanges with others are really about meeting.ourselves and in this way we always have the sense of being of where we need to be - regardless of the circumstances that we find ourselves in.
The festival offers a truly unique transformative space. A place where we gather together as a community to physically manifest our highest aspirations and then once inspired and rejuvenated return home to act as a bridge for the wider world to a new way of being.
Call for Teachers
If you are inspired to teach a workshop at the festival please get in touch with me Surinder - sk.marshall@btinternet.com. As the theme of the festival is The Physical Body - Temple of the Soul you may want to base you workshop around this, for example you could lead a workshop on the 5 senses, or about finding your centre. However, don't feel limited by this the most important factor is that you feel inspired to share with the community.
