Laura Hinde (Mukta)

Laura is very happy to join the core team at the festival and honoured to share over two decades of experience as a yoga teacher rooted in Kundalini Yoga, weaving together sound healing and the path of bhakti. She is co-founder of The Yoga Hall in St Albans, which she has nurtured alongside her husband since 2003 as a space for community, connection, and wellbeing.

Her journey with yoga began in 1995, and after the birth of her first child, she discovered the transformative practice of Kundalini Yoga, which she now teaches regularly at The Yoga Hall. Laura completed her Level 1 and Level 2 trainings at Amrit Nam Sarovar in the French Alps, and continues to be grateful and inspired by a daily practice that connects her to oneness in a juicy, moving and meaningful way.

In 2014, Laura co-founded Red Tent St Albans, creating a monthly, nurturing space for women to gather in a sacred and supportive environment. She also co-leads women’s retreats throughout the year, offering spaces for rest, reflection, healing, and reconnection away from the pace of everyday life.

Since 2020, Laura has been devoted to deepening her spiritual path through study with Australian embodied ascended master channel In’Easa Mabu Ishtar. Alongside this, she is currently training as a spiritual mentor, expanding her capacity to guide others into deeper embodiment, inner knowing, and lived connection with the sacred.
Outside her teaching, Laura finds joy in wild swimming, baking cookies, cats, and resting.
