ACCOMMODATION

What types of accommodation do you offer?

We have single rooms, twin rooms, family rooms and camping too!

Can I have a room with an ensuite?

Unfortunately, the venue doesn’t have any rooms with ensuite. If you need a room next door to a bathroom, please let us know in the comments when you book. Or contact us to let us know.

Can I camp?

We have a few spaces for camping. Make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes and warm bedding so you stay cozy.

What do the rooms provide?

The rooms are very nice and provide all the bedding for each person. And they have sinks, bedside tables, a wardrobe and usually a desk and chair. Please bring a cot and bedding for infants.

Why is accommodation more expensive than in recent years?

Venue costs have risen since last year, and we have done our best to keep the costs low, with a small increase to the ticket prices for the festival.

This doesn’t make a profit for us, the ticket pricing just covers our costs of the venue and putting on the festival. We do our best to make it affordable for families, with cost price children tickets, and we offer a few bursary tickets for those who haven’t the funds to pay for the full ticket.
We are unpaid volunteers putting on the festival for the community because we love it.

What do I need to bring?

You will get full instructions on what to bring in the joining email.
Do remember to bring your yoga mat and warm blanket for sadhana!

OTHER

How much profit does the festival make?

The festival is based on seva (service without expectation of benefits) and we budget to break even each year. It usually makes a small profit or small loss. Whenever we make a profit, we put that into more bursary places for the community and improvements to the festival for you.
The festival is lovingly organised by a small team of unpaid volunteers. And we are super grateful to the teachers who volunteer their time without payment to arrive early and setup the festival, work each day to ensure the smooth running, and pack away at the end.

PS We would love your help with packing away if you can spare 30 mins or an hour to help.🙏💕
