FESTIVAL GOAL
GBKYF is a beautiful annual event, run by a small team of volunteers and committed yogis. Itβs a sanctuary for the soul and a respite from the commercial overdrive of our modern world. No big sponsors, just lots of friendly community and activities to nourish the mind, body and spirit. The main goal of the great British Kundalini Yoga Festival is to provide an environment where people can come together to experience and enjoy positive, healthy and supportive group energy through Kundalini Yoga practice and wisdom.
The festival is committed to sharing this experience with respect for all living beings including other people and their belongings, animals and plants on the festival site.
FESTIVAL THEME Sacred Self β Sacred Collective
Embracing Peace as Our Essence
This year, we journey from I to We β not as a concept, but as a felt experience of our deep interconnectedness: everyone connected to everything. We open to peace not as something to attain, but as something that already lives within us. We are not reaching upward toward a higher self; we are inviting it inward, allowing it to become our inner self.
2025 calls us into deeper embodiment, guided by the numerology of the year:
5 β The Physical Body, our capacity to feel, to touch, to move through the world.
7 (2+5)β The Aura, the magnetic mind, the collective field we co-create.
9 (2+2+5)β The Subtle Body, the unseen, our connection to Spirit, to the Mystery, to All That Is.
This year, we stand at a threshold. We can choose control, or we can choose kindness. We can hold to judgment, or we can become the witness. Through peace, we see the subtle. We see the magic. We align not with force, but with the natural laws of harmony β the gentle guidance of the universe.
We are invited to lay down what we no longer need: anger, fear, judgment. To let it all fall to the earth and open ourselves to the quiet power of peace.
Peace, come to me. Enter me. Move through me.
In that stillness, forgiveness becomes possible.
True communication begins.
And from forgiveness, peace grows.
From peace, forgiveness expands.
It is a sacred cycle. It is a collective healing. It is time.
