(Friday 2pm Children’s Camp) Jane Oppegaard

Hi everyone, I am a Lancashire lass now living in Hertfordshire, where I met my husband 30 years ago. Our greatest achievement has been our 3 adopted children, and Kundalini Yoga helping me to be the best mum, giving us all strength and courage in those early years and beyond.

I started to practice Kundalini Yoga in 2000. As I couldn’t find a local class my practice consisted of following a video and a book, both by Gurmukh  Kaur, and the transformation in those first few years blew me away (having had scoliosis from birth), my physical body had a renewed strength, and I felt so uplifted and connected.
In 2008, I completed my Kundalini Yoga Level I training with the Amrit Nam Sarovar school, the following year Child Play Yoga with Gurudass Kaur, in 2014 The Khalsa Way Pre Natal programme and level 2s in 2012 and 2016. This beautiful blend has grown a passion within me to not only teach adults but our little ones as well.
In 2010 Happy Little Yogi was born, taking yoga into schools and after school clubs, along with holiday camps and family yoga.
Last summer the Happy Little Yogi Flow Teacher Training programme was created, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals, and I now love teaching and passing these yogic gems onto others so that more children’s lives can be touched and blessed by these teachings.
